and is heard, but the woodsman doesn't know it, does it matter? Which is a convoluted way of saying that ever since I changed the format, I lost the capacity to see how many people read this blog, and then I lost motivation to write. Which is interesting in itself, because I had all these little stories in my head and I didn't put them down here and I missed that. And it wasn't like I was getting thousands of hits (or even hundreds!) It was about 20 or so per day, which seemed a nice comfortable sort of amount. And why couldn't I rely on the 20 returning (or a new 20 or so coming in) without google analytics telling me so, and what difference does it all make.
Well, today I've decided it makes no difference. I'm just going to write anyway, and the numbers can take care of themselves (or not)
In my absence I found facebook, which is fun, but this is fun too and I want both :) So I'm keeping both - I shall write this and return and write more too.

I should point out that anyone who uses a feed reader hasn't noticed the formatting changes, so they may not be of such consequence to your readers. (Google analytics also won't show those people unless they come to the site to leave a comment, as I did today.)
For anyone interested in feed readers, I did a post on them a while back.
